The Praia d'El Rey Marriott golf and beach resort in Portugal has been united with R&A’s sustainable agronomic services to further strengthen its commitment to deliver performance and conditioning in a sustainable way.

This visionary partnership will bring R&A’s renowned expertise and innovation directly to Praia d’El Rey in performance agronomics, and a tailor-made program is designed to enhance the effectiveness of all areas of certain maintenance while protecting and enhancing the wider environment.

The key objectives of the partnership include improving turf health through soil science, data-driven agronomy, to inform maintenance operations, implement effective water retention practices and effective water usage, and to advise strategic investments in machinery and infrastructure – all of which provide a high-performance Turf condition while providing a high-responsible resort in the environment.
