Sweden’s Alex Noren won his 11th DP World Tour title at the Betfred British Masters on Sunday, and at the Bell Tower he won a five-shot final in the final round of the Bell Tower.
Noren also won the race in 2016, starting his final round lead but took the highest lead in his final round before being locked in the title battle with Dane Højgaard.
New Zealander Kobori attacked the battle with eagles and four birdies in his last six holes, targeting the clubhouse at 15 years old.
But Noren himself had a big game, picking up the Birds in 15, 16 and 17, and leading into the 18th tee with a two-shot lead. He suffered late fears as he suffered a wrong serve in his final game, but since the 2018 French Open he completed the week in 16 weeks to return to the winner’s circle.
