Golf Business News – Mizushima unveils new high-tech DP world tour truck

Mizuno has officially launched the brand new DP World Tour Truck, a state-of-the-art mobile facility specially built, marking a bold step for the brand to support its travelers and to operate in professional golf.
After 15 years of service, replacing the previous model, the new car has been completely reimagined to meet the evolving needs of today’s gaming – providing more space, more features and a more immersive brand experience.
When fully deployed, the length is 17.5 meters and expanded to a width of nearly 5 meters, providing a total of three dedicated areas, each tailored for a specific operational purpose. The heart of this operation is the 23m2 workshop – a space designed to allow multiple club technicians to work simultaneously without getting in the way.
Now every Mizuno employee’s preferred shaft, grip and head are loaded on board to ensure that the equipment can be adjusted, rebuilt or customized with speed and accuracy. A new laser engraving machine brings wedge-shaped personalized and customized push rod vision directly into the truck, providing services that were previously possible only on site.
Next to the seminar is the 13.5 m2 player service area, a functional space where tourers can collect weekly essentials for hats, gloves, balls, towels and other special pigeons. The area is equipped with two refrigerators, a microwave grill, coffee machine, large sofa and a high-top table with multiple workstations.
At the front of the vehicle, Mizuno introduced a 14.8 m2 office and showroom designed with complete flexibility. Modular furniture and slat wall systems can be reconfigured, which can be reconfigured to support operational conferences, product presentations or brand presentations. Although its primary function is to meet the needs of the Mizuno golf department, the region also offers the potential to use during retail activations, providing a quality brand environment wherever it is parked.

The Crown New Truck is a rooftop terrace, a unique feature that provides guests with a unique perspective on the action of the week. Overlooking the practice range, activity village or activation area, the terrace transforms the truck into a hotel space, bringing partners and visitors closer to the game in ways other wagons can offer.
In addition to layout and design, the new truck also has high-speed internet installed via Starlink, while the Sonos sound system can play music in three separate areas. The entire air conditioning ensures comfort in all weather conditions.
Retailer and Travel Experience Roles
While the main role of the wagon is to support Tour players, the vehicle will also serve as a tool to attract retail partners. Based on the recent expansion of the Mizuno custom fit network (with the enhancement of the addition of dedicated golf technology representatives), trucks will increase the center stage with the number of “tourism experience days”, giving retailers the opportunity to provide customers with a truly travel-level custom fitting service.
The truck will also play a key role in R&A events, LET Championships and a variety of feeder tours, and will also play entries in selected events in other sports disciplines at EMEA, acting as a multi-purpose brand ambassador such as running activities – strengthening this is not only a golf investment, but a broader brand launch.
Although the previous truck is retiring from the road, it will still play a role in Mizuno’s brand business as it will take on a new role at Mizuno’s EMEA Tour Base at Bearwood Lakes Golf Golf Club in Berkshire, where it will be a hub for fit, service and brand interaction. This will also allow the tour team to serve players when lead trucks enter the bus, ensuring constant support regardless of location.
