Grand Slam champion Rory McIlroy confirmed his first DP World India Championship in the country in his career.
The 2025 Masters Championship and the Dubai Championship will be held at the first DP World India Championship at Delhi Golf Club from October 16 to 19.
The $4 million tournament, together with the Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI), approved the largest prize money ever offered for the DP World Tour of India.
“I'm not only happy to be in India for the first time, but also visited a country that I've always wanted to explore. I've always loved playing the global schedule and there's a huge potential in India to further develop golf in India. It's a great opportunity and I can't wait to play in front of Indian golf fans.”
