Golf Business News – IGTM Announces Strategic Partnership with PGA Show

The International Golf Travel Market organized by RX is the leading global gathering for golf travel professionals, as well as the largest and longest running international business event in golf, PGA Show announced a new strategic partnership.

The collaboration aims to strengthen connections across the global golf ecosystem, from travel and tourism to retail and technological innovation.

Both activities are central platforms for their respective international audiences – IGTM for destinations, travel operators and travel suppliers, and PGA exhibitions for retailers, manufacturers, U.S. PGA golf professionals and industry leaders. Through this new partnership, the IGTM and PGA exhibitions are designed to promote innovation, build relationships, trigger new business opportunities and support long-term cross-sector growth.

“Golf travel plays a key role in expanding games around the world,” Fiona Ashton, IGTM Event Manager. “Through this partnership, we are building a more connected future – linking golf professionals, travel agencies, suppliers, suppliers and technology innovators from PGA in the United States to make a real business impact.”

The first project shaped by the partnership will debut at the Cannes Film Festival from October 20-23:

  • PGA golf professionals in the United States participate – Selection of American golf professionals from the top American golf clubs for the first time (determined and recruited through the PGA performance network) will be invited to IGTM. These respected industry leaders work together to organize important group travel experiences every year and will be offered for certain hosting benefits at the event. Their presence will provide valuable new opportunities for destinations, resorts and travel providers to connect with key decision makers in golf travel.
  • Discovery area – A new showroom displays the focus of emerging brands and technologies in golf travel, technology, clothing and equipment. Inspired by the innovations of the PGA exhibition, the field will focus on growing rapidly and developing new products.
  • Trend data and insight collaboration – IGTM and PGA Show will share industry insights and trend data to help provide programming, guide business plans and help both events to meet evolving market demand.

Looking ahead, IGTM is also developing plans to have operations at the 2026 PGA Fair in Orlando from January 20-23, including carefully curated content on the club stage and dedicated exhibition floor-level features – bringing golf trips to the acumen of PGA professionals and industry stakeholders.

“This partnership represents a natural development of our shared goals,” said Marc Simon, vice president of events at PGA Golf Fair (RX USA). “It enables us to attract more American golf professionals at IGTM, deepen our focus on innovation and insights, and strengthen our connections to the European golf travel market, which brings new destinations to PGA Show and enhances its presence in the global golf tourism industry.”

IGTM and PGA Show invite travel agencies, destinations, PGA professionals, suppliers, technology innovators and media partners to participate. To learn more, visit igtm.com and pgashow.com, or follow these two events on LinkedIn and Instagram.
