Golf Business News – Golf & Casual Group Purchase 3 Hammers

Golf & Casual Group announced the purchase of Wolverhampton’s award-winning three Hammer Golf Complex.

3 Hammers is the second acquisition of the Golf & Leisure Group, joining the Bristol Golf Centre, where the company has invested about £2 million since the purchase of Hambrook's factory in 2020.

“We’ve always been impressed by the 3-time Hammer,” said James Rogers, who co-owns the golf and leisure group with his wife Candice. “The facilities, staff and services here combine to create the perfect golf experience for users of all ages and abilities. IanBonser and his team have had a huge impact on the local and national level and we’re excited to build on this amazing legacy.”

While the 3 Hammer's daily operation will remain the same, some recent scope renovations implemented by the Bristol Golf Center are still planned, making the scope experience more attractive to customers.

Carl Tomlin, managing director of Golf and Casual Group, explained: “Our new ball delivery system, automated serving and multiplayer gaming products are very unique and adds a completely different dimension to the customer experience in Bristol. We want to bring innovative ideas like this to 3 Hammers. Bring new things to 3 Hammers to 3 Hammers to get people interacting with others.

Over the past 39 years, 3 Hammers have pioneered innovative technologies, created unique outreach programs and marked the beginning of the golf industry, including travel star Aaron Rai and Internet sensation Me and my golf. The 3-time Hammer was impressed and won many awards at the recent England Golf Awards, including the new “Golf Facilities of the Year Award”.
