Generous members of the Frilford Heath Golf Club have raised over £25,000 for homeless Oxfordshire, a charity that helps people experience homelessness.

Throughout the summer, club captains Sally Adams and Tony Weir led a series of fundraising events, including auctions, raffles and four flagship days.

Sally and Tony say: “Frilford Heath is a family-friendly club that cares about our community. We recognize the important work that Oxfordshire does in supporting those experiencing homelessness, and we are delighted by the many kind and generous members, which has left our fundraising behind.”

Homeless Oxfordshire is the county’s largest supportive accommodation provider, providing a lifeline for those who are homeless. Through a network of secure housing, personalized support and professional services, the charity can address not only immediate needs such as shelters and food, but also the root causes of homelessness.

Liza Clothier, head of fundraising and communications at homeless Oxfordshire, said: “We are extremely grateful to the Frilford Heath Golf Club and its members for their outstanding contributions. These funds will help us provide safe accommodation, vital support services and provide homeless people with homelessness to rebuild lives. This partner’s life blends their communities in the local community.
