Valencia goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili made it clear that he plans to be at Liverpool next season as his transfer brink is approaching.
Georgia International may not be easy to play regularly at Anfield on target, but it doesn't seem to stop him from trying.
As BBC Sport reported last summer, Mamardashvili will be in the 2025/26 season with Liverpool for a deal of £29 million.
Liverpool chose not to bring Mamardashvili last season, but it seems he doesn't want to be loaned in the next few months either.
According to the latest quote from reporter Fabrizio Romano, see below.
? Mamardashvili on the future of Liverpool: “I'm not thinking about another loan. I'll spend it next season at Liverpool.”
“I'll go to Liverpool and give everything I have, just like I'm in Valencia. I'm working hard every day and training with Arison will help me.” @Geo__Team. pic.twitter.com/hcmsqs5vcb

“I'm not considering another loan. I'll spend next season at Liverpool,” the 24-year-old said.
“I'll go to Liverpool like I did in Valencia and give it my best. I'll work hard every day and training with Arison will help me.”
Who will be number one for Liverpool next season?
Mamardashvili's arrival at LFC will surely give manager Arne Slot some headaches next season.
Currently, Alisson is clear first, and the Brazilian scorer racer has another excellent season in Anfield's career.
It's hard to imagine Mamardashvili stepping in and becoming the top pick, but he must be too good to sit on the bench in the season?
The huge changes in Liverpool
The situation with Mamardashvili vs Alisson will be fascinating, and there will certainly be other major changes to the SLOT team this summer.
Trent Alexander-Arnold is about to leave his contract and publicly confirms that he will transfer for free.
One imagines that others, like Darwin Nunez and Jarell Quansah, might be the players who keep moving forward, and of course, if there is another top goalkeeper to compete with, Caoimhin Kelleher certainly won't stay.
