Julian Cash and Lloyd Glasspool’s Wimbledon triumphs, world number one and the influence of Louis Cayer

There’s only one thing Julian Cash and Lloyd Glasspool can’t agree on this year.
In their first full season together, the British pair captured the Wimbledon men’s doubles title and secured year-end world number one rankings.
Their postseason diary, however, is a different story.
Glasspool will celebrate their winning season with a dinner at a swanky London restaurant with family, team members and sponsors.
However, with a holiday to Tenerife booked in advance, the cash will be missed.
“Everyone’s going to be there – except Jules. He’s going to be on a boozy lad’s tour,” joked Glasspool.
“There will be some beer, but it’s mainly golf and cricket. We’ll all be celebrating – just apart,” Cash laughed.
The relaxed exchange showcased the camaraderie that has helped 29-year-old Cash and 32-year-old Glasspool become the best men’s team in the world.
Their rise has also helped establish Britain as the leaders in men’s doubles.
