French Open 2025: What makes a good clay player?

LTA said there are about 1,300 clay fields in the UK in 2024. It's about 5% of the 23,000 people in the courts' total.

But when I was young, whether in the UK or abroad, I always did a great job on clay.

“I always thought I was a player who could do well on all the surfaces.”
