French Open 2025 results: Henry Patten progresses in men’s doubles

Henry Patten has been one of many British people in France to open men’s doubles after defeating his fellow countryman Jacob Fearnley.

Patten and Finland’s Harri Heliovaara were second, defeating Fearnley and Canada’s Gabriel Diallo 6-2 6-3.

Patten, 29, and Heliovaara, 35, are also looking to join their Australian Open title in January after winning his first Grand Slam doubles title at Wimbledon last year.

Fearnley competed in Roland Garros’ third-round singles match, and he will face Briton Cameron Norrie on Saturday.

Britain’s sixth seeds Lloyd Glasspool and Julian Cash also made progress, defeating the United States against Ryan Seggerman and learner Tien 7-5 7-6 (7-5).

They added eighth seeds Neal Skupski and Joe Salisbury in the next round, who expelled Guido Andreozzi of Argentina and Theo Arribage of France 7-5 6-4.
