French Open 2025: Jack Draper

One of Jack Draper's most important courses is learning elite players, which is the ability to be spiritually fulfilled during busy seasons.

When the French Open started on Sunday, Britain's No. 1 would be fifth, and he became the top of the men's competition.

It's a sharp rise for the 23-year-old Briton, who returns to Paris, hopes to prove a point after his first round of defeats last year.

However, enhanced success brings more fatigue – Draper often emphasizes danger.

Draper spent a few days in London and said he felt “refreshed” into Roland Garros.

“If I go home and take a day off, I'll be normal and do something about going to my local cafe (Putney) greasy spoons,” he told BBC Sport.

“It’s not a athlete’s breakfast, it’s the plain stuff – beans, sausages, hash browns, all of these tackles.

“I might go to London, be with friends, with family I’ve never met before.

“Tennis, especially if you do well in these games, are very full.”
