French Open 2025: Alexander Bublik

The best moments of Alexander Bublik’s life are after the most desperate position in his career.

The 27-year-old has always had a complicated relationship with tennis and felt “wholeheartedly” the sport “with all heart” in an interview in 2020.

After losing eight of eight of the first 10 games in 2025 and downgraded his rankings, his coach has come up with a new approach.

It’s unconventional to say the least. But the decision to practice less and travel to Las Vegas worked wonders.

On Wednesday, Bublik will seek to extend his excellent, unexpected French Open, which is amazing world No. 1 Jannik Sinner to reach his first Grand Slam semifinal.

He has upset the Big Ten players Jack Draper and Alex de Minaur – he wants to resign forever just a few weeks later.

“My coach recommends traveling to Vegas. He’s like, if you [continue to] For games like this, we will leave tennis, [out] Talk,” Bubbik said.

“I said, OK, if it goes well, everything goes well. If not, thank you very much, tennis.”

It’s safe to say it works.
