France reveals 2025 results: Jannik Sinner improves, but Taylor Fritz plays in the first round

After saving three early breakout points in a cage opener, Sinner won the first set in the 75th No. 75 Rinder Knech’s Error-making service game, a backhand game, Sinner’s first fixed point, sending Italians on his way.
He asked for the second time in Game 4 of the second set and relaxed for the rest, alone on the serving field alone.
But his game collapsed temporarily in the third set as Rinder Knech was inspired by the partisan crowd in his home capital, winning four games of the opening ceremony for a leading lead.
However, as the sinner fights back and cancels Rinderknech’s rest point, normality returns, piercing the atmosphere in the showroom court.
From there, he almost didn’t give his opponent another chance. Sinner, who piled up on the Frenchman’s racket, broke up and beat the game with the fierce rinderknech of 29, was almost helpless.
The Sinner will play French veteran Richard Gasquet in the second round.
The top ten player, Gasquet, 38, played the final game in Roland Garros’ career and beat Compatriot and other Wildcard Terence Atmane in his first game.
Sinner won his third major title at the Australian Open in January but has not yet reached the final of Roland Garros, who left the semi-finals 12 months ago at the hands of final champion Alcaraz.
In February, he accepted a three-month ban after reaching a settlement with the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) last year.
This suspension ended in early May, which meant he was able to compete in his home match in Rome – where he only lost one game against Alcalazz – before heading to Paris for the second year’s Grand Slam.
