Manchester United reportedly sold to striker Rasmus Hojlund this summer and could accept an offer of about £50 million.
The decision is due to the growing interest of Italian clubs (especially Juventus) who are exploring the possibility of moving Denmark forward to Serie A.
Hojlund, who signed from Atalanta for £72m in 2023, has been working hard to meet Old Trafford's expectations.
In the 2024-25 season, he scored only eight goals in 43 games and only three in the Premier League.
Under manager Ruben Amorim, his lack of progress has led the club to rethink his role in future plans.
Under former manager Erik Ten Hag and current manager Amorim, the attackers gained enough opportunities in the team.
United's former chief scout Mick Brown believes the player is likely to start from the club this summer, while United is ready to accept his price cuts.
“There are a lot of interests, especially Italy.” Brown told football insiders.
“Man United is shocked, it has never really happened to him here, but it hasn't stopped some other clubs from interest.
“They believe they can resurrect what they see in him first.
“The Juventus I heard was one of the clubs and they loved the stuff he played in Italy.
“It’s a transaction that only happens if the fees are right for them, and I don’t believe it is a transaction.
“United States will seem to be delaying for £50m due to the amount they spend on him, and I would be shocked if any team is willing to pay.
“But it seems he doesn’t have a lot of future here, so if there is a good offer, they’ll likely accept it.”

Hojlund is still not a finished article, his lack of experience and his poor form before the goal made the Red Devils a key point this season.
