1. Two holes in a round
It is estimated that the score of two holes in a round is a 67,000,000-1 shot. In other words, it is almost impossible to understand. However, at the South African Open in February, England’s Dale Whitnell achieved this surprising feat.
The 36-year-old finished second in 179 yards and then lined up his serve on the 12th of 149 yards.
It is worth noting that this is not unique as 2023 Open champion Brian Harman achieved this feat in 2015 at Barclays, while England’s John Hudson (1971 Martini International) and Martini International and Martini International (2024 U.S. Senior Open) also did the most unlikely doubles.
It might match two Aacs, but surely no one will manage three A in one round, right?
2. Tiger Woods wins the U.S. Open with 15 strokes
Woods was a favorite to win the U.S. Open at Pebble Beach in 2000.
He has won four games that season, including a five-shot win in the Memorial Championship.
But no one can imagine him dismantling such a world-class field.
The tiger opened at 65 to ensure a one-time advantage of narrowness, but due to the tough conditions of 69, 6 shots were made midway.
The lead extends to 10 through 71, while the closing 67 lead gives Woods a 15-room win.
The Tigers finished with a 12 shot, with his recent rivals Ernie Els and Miguel Angel Jimenez ending with a combined member of +3.
His 15-beat victory defeated Tom Morris’ 13-shot victory in 1862 at Prestwick.
3. Rhein Gibson shot 55
Whenever the golfer is on the “59 Watch”, it still causes great excitement and threatens to break the magic of 60.
This feat is still very rare. In 1977, Al Geiberger was the first to hit an obstacle, with only 14 players overall receiving 59 crashes on the PGA Tour.

5. Jack Nicklaus’s 18 majors

Tiger Woods looked certain when Nicklaus won the 14th major in 2008, but since (the Masters in 2019), he has only added one major, and it is nearly impossible to see him stepping onto another after a series of years of surgery.
6. Jack Nicklaus has 146 consecutive places

But in June 2025, Kelechi Ezihie, 27, from Nigeria, broke the mark after a longer marathon meeting at Huntington Crescent Club in Long Island, New York.
Ezihie started his round from 6pm, and after telling the turn in the middle, the record was 32 hours, decided to extend his endurance test and keep it 36 times.
