In February 2025, Luke Williams was fired as Swansea City Manager after winning seven losses in nine championship games.
A few months later, the former Swinton Township and Notts County owner took on a surprising new role – working at the Bristol Airport.
Photos of Williams on the airport uniform surfaced last Saturday, including sportsconfirm that he has been working there for the past two weeks. His work involves assisting people with disabilities around the terminal and limited driving passengers.
Although he doesn’t have financial need to work while waiting for another football opportunity, sources close to Williams say he prefers to stay busy and do something meaningful rather than staying at home.

This method responded to what he told guardian In 2024, he emphasized the value of hard work. He was not qualified to leave school and supported his early coaching career by working like loading trucks and driving minibuses.
“In my late teen consciousness, life will be a huge struggle, life will become very difficult, and the world will become very hostile for those who are not qualified, without contact, working class,” Williams explained. “That desire to support yourself and take care of yourself.
“I realized that I could tolerate almost everything, as long as I could have a roof over my head, and eat. That’s the beginning of the motivation. I don’t think I really got rid of that motivation.”
Whether on the contact line or on the contact line, Williams’ dedication shows that hard work and humility can open the door – even if the road is unexpected.
