Lottie WOAD’s interview on turning to professionals – Golf News

You will make your debut this week. Can you talk about your feelings about entering this event?

Obviously very excited. Yes, you know, I’ve been thinking about my career major for a long time. I’m also very happy to do more on the ground. This is really fun.

ask: Can you talk about Evian and how to make the experience and process behind the professionals and your ideas?

It’s really cool. Sunday was obviously a very interesting day and it ended. Yes, then obviously got my LPGA card from it, so once I talked to the coach and the team, it was a very easy decision.

ask: This week is obviously a link. How do you prepare to link golf, how do you link golf with your gaming suit?

I mean, I haven’t played golf this year, obviously in the US, but I’ve been playing a little since I’ve been back.

I don’t think the transition to it is too bad because I grew up playing amateur music on link golf and know how to knock the ball down and stuff like that, which always helps to play in the wind.

ask: Last year, you won a silver medal at St Andrews, so obviously your game has to be suitable for link golf. How was that experience?

I do love Links golf, it was a very special week, playing at home in golf and playing well, yes, it was really cool to play St Andrews at the beginning, especially in public.

ask: What was your first thought about the course this week? Do you have a first impression?

Never played here before. Yes, this is a very good course. All the rain is softer than before. Therefore, it may be a little different. If the wind gets up, it can still throw some curveballs there.

ask: So, did you see the week’s draw, and when you see it, what do you think?

A few days were fun. Obviously, the two players I look up to, so it’s cool.

ask: What is the reception of the players? Has anyone admitted that you were participating in your first professional competition and gave you advice?

Some players talked to me. Everyone was very friendly. Yes, it’s so good.

ask: Is there a person who looks up to the majority among professional players? Who is your inspiration?

I think when I grew up, I looked at a lot of English experts. So it will be cool to pair with Charley tomorrow.

ask: Is it any difference to be a professional so far?

Not true, no. Just try the same as I did before.

ask: Will you work hard to complete your degree next spring?

I haven’t decided yet. I need to talk to the scholars about this and decide whether to do so. Because obviously I want to focus a lot on this.

ask: Turning to professionals, do you feel like there is more responsibility this week or anything you have to prepare for this week?

Honestly, I really haven’t done much. Really, just focus on golf.

ask: Have you been following the women’s euros and have you watched Sweden and England matches last Thursday?

I did it. Yes, we’ll play tonight. So maybe it depends on that.

ask: Who do you think will play in the final?

England.

ask: Have you seen many other women’s sports besides golf?

It’s really just football and golf. To be honest.
