England Golf reveals a new five-year strategy designed to inspire more people to play golf.
The 2025-2030 strategy will enable national governing bodies to operate near its four key pillars, including; security, inclusive, sustainable and inspiring.
With over 1,800 affiliated golf clubs and facilities, England Golf is designed to support and empower a thriving community of golfers to make the most of the game.
England Golf’s golf club membership grew by 8,000 to 730,000 in 2024, while Igolf, which caters to the Access Barrier Index® for golfers without clubs, now has over 61,000 subscribers.
Growth has not stopped, and since its inception in 2021, more than 17,400 Mrs. Igor have now been transformed into club membership.
iPlay is a free feature for golfers to track progress through average scoring metrics, and more than 10,000 people have also registered.
After the respect for golf began, England Golf saw all clubs and counties signing their affiliations, demonstrating the commitment to make the game more inclusive and accessible.

England Golf received the Sports Innovation Award at the 2024 Sports Business Awards and again received two honors at the 2025 FEVO Sports Industry Awards, which won the National Governing Body Sports Organization of the Year and the Wellness An Work Ness Award.
