Dallas’s Micah Parsons calls for ownership to continue to postpone his contract negotiations

Defensively, there is no doubt who is the top player of the Cowboys. Micah Parsons has been dominant since entering the league and shows no signs of slowing down.
The 26-year-old has been eligible for a contract since last season. However, owner Jerry Jones continues to postpone his contract negotiations. Parsons lined up to be the highest-paid non-QB in the NFL. Why ownership delayed Parsons signature for so long is meaningless. Recently, Parsons were within six feet of the podcast with the former WWE Superstar (The Undertaker). Micah Parsons discusses his frustration with ownership and hopes to relax the signing extension.

With the 12th pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, the Dallas Cowboys selected Micah Parsons from Penn State. As a rookie, Parsons dominated the field. He started 16 of 17 games for the Cowboys and recorded 13.0 sacks, 64 solo tackles, 20 tackle losses and 3 forced groping. That’s enough to get Micah Parsons first-team global honors in his first professional season. He was also named Defensive Rookie of the Year.
In the next season in 2022, Parsons recorded 13.5 sacks for Dallas. In addition to 42 solo tackles, 13 tackle losses and 3 forced groping. For the second straight season, Micah Parsons won first-team all-professional honors. In 2023, Parsons has a career-high 14 sacks for the Cowboys. Likewise, Parsons started all 17 games for Dallas. Parsons missed four games due to a sprained ankle against the Giants in Week 4. Despite missing these games, Parsons still had 12 sacks in 13 games. Micah Parsons has 52.5 sacks in 63 professional games for the Cowboys. This was a great work in his first four seasons. Still, owner Jerry Jones is delaying contract negotiations with Parsons.
Speaking with Undertaker on the podcast, Micah Parsons said he would report to the upcoming bootcamp in Dallas. It is unknown whether he will participate in the live drill without a new contract. Two times the all-professional person discussed his desire to complete his contract last season. Ownership wants to take care of other contracts before arriving at Parsons. Eventually, Jerry Jones will have to pay for Micah Parsons. The 26-year-old is one of the league’s leading defensive players and he is eager to sign with Dallas for a long time.
