Eberechi Eze went to Arsenal and was declared “We’re gone” by transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, as the hijacking of bitter rival Tottenham seemed to be close to completion.

Eze held high-level talks with the Spurs, but Romano insisted that it was never completely sealed, which allowed the Gunners to put out.

When Arsenal ended, other details emerged, signing an exciting signing for one of the Premier League’s hottest offensive players.

For more information about Romano, see the information below, as he puts his trademark “We Go Here” almost as good as the club’s official closing statement…

“Break: Eberechi Eze arrives at Arsenal, we’re leaving!” Romano released. “Oral agreement reached between all parties. #afc Spurs. Arsenal won the Tottenham Hotspur game and has held senior talks for several days but has never been locked down. ”

Ben Jacobs also posted some interesting insights into the story, with Arsenal taking advantage of the fact that the Palace asked the Spurs to postpone the deal.

See Jacobs below posting his message on X, the Palace’s Europa Conference League tie seems to prove crucial as it slows down Tottenham Hotspur…

Arsenal fans will be very happy with this, as Eze is obviously ready to join THFC and has a very close move, just a plan to get the AFC to pounce on the competitors at the last minute.

What role will Eze play in Arsenal?

Eze can play on the left or midfielder attacking midfielders, so it would be fun to see how Mikel Arteta ended up using him.

Either way, it’s certainly reassuring that the club’s supporters end up having more sparks in the offense, which gives the team a replacement for Martin Odegaard in the middle, while on the left is Gabriel Martinelli.

Eze will follow other big-name signings such as Viktor Gyokeres, Martin Zubimendi and Noni Madueke, moving to the Emirates Stadium this summer.
