Donald Trump’s amazing golf bill reveals huge milestone

Donald Trump’s trip to the golf course has now lost $71 million to the U.S. taxpayer, he returned to his office in January.
According to Didtrumpgolftoday.com, the U.S. president has spent 51 days on the first 206 days of his tenure — 24.8% of his tenure. Although fair to the president, most of these days are Sunday.
Using the 2019 administration report to determine the cost of President Golf Day as a taxpayer, the website is fully committed to Trump’s golf journey, with a total of $71,400,000.
However, this number is believed to be actually good on Trump’s bill, and in one example of Bedminster, another $600,000 is spent on golf carts and portable toilets.
“The U.S. Secret Service has signed a contract for portable restroom and golf cart rental to support the protection business in Bedminster, New Jersey,” the Secret Service told the Independent.
“The golf carts are used by people in club facilities; however, additional toilets are required to support the number of people on site. These rents also allow toilets in other locations on the club property and in other locations in the closing of club facilities such as business hours after work.”
Trump’s recent five-day trip to Scotland, where he opened a new McLeod course at Trump International Golf Course near Aberdeen, reportedly spending $9.7 million on U.S. taxpayers.
During Trump’s first semester, he spent about $152 million in taxpayer money playing golf at his resort.
It is understandably true that Trump’s dedication to golf has caused many dissent from his critics.
“He is using the president to promote his golf course,” ethics lawyer Richard Painter told the Huffington Post. “He is at the expense of taxpayers, he is promoting.”
“We have arrived at the Oval Office as an extension of the Trump Organization, and U.S. taxpayers are paying for the bill,” Jordan Libowitz said in Washington’s Code of Responsibility and Ethics.
“Presidents shouldn’t spend time trying to make money abroad during their tenure, but if they do, at least they can pick up the label for business trips.”
