Dodgers designate CJ Alexander for assignment

The Dodgers announced a series of squads today. Outfielder Ultraman James Have been recalled to the major league club and they also chose a right-handed contract Julian Fernández. In the corresponding active lineup movement, left-handed Justin Wrobleski Selected when infielder/outfielder Enrique Hernández It has been placed on the 10-day list of injuries due to inflammation in the left elbow. Open 40 for Fernandez, Infielder/Outfielder CJ Alexander Has been assigned as a job. Fernández’s move was reported earlier today.
There is not much information about Hernandez’s damage. Dave Roberts, manager of manager Dave Roberts, said the problem has been around for about a month. This is Hernández’s non-elbow, which is probably why he was able to play, but the club decided to give him a breath. With the All-Star breakup coming up, if that’s a minor issue, he might not actually miss a lot of games. Roberts does believe that Hernández may be back there shortly after the Los Angeles Times’ Jack Harris rests.
Outman gives the club some extra outfield coverage, but the current position player combination is a bit thin, especially in the infield. Max Munchy On the injured list, weeks will be missed. Tommy Edman According to Sportsnet La’s David Vassegh, tonight is not in tonight’s roster. Outfielder Teoscar Hernández Last night, last night, after smudged the ball in last night’s Vassegh, I had a scan on my left foot last night and was not in the lineup tonight.
In tonight’s lineup, the Dodgers have Freddie Freeman at first, Hyeseong Kim second, Mookie Betts In shortstop and Miguel Rojas In third. The bench consists of backup catchers Dalton rushoutfielder Esteury Ruizand then the explosion of Tescar and Edman. If Edman is unable to play tonight, then these four infielders will obviously be locked. If another injury pops up, the club will have to get creative and try outfielders on the dirt. Roberts hopes Edman and Hernández will pick up Harris on the bench tonight, although that may be hollow optimism.
Alexander was just released a few days ago, and it seemed to have brought some extra infield depth to the club, but he has not been recalled today. Instead, he was hit by the 40-man lineup and was likely to return to the exemption wire in the coming days.
He has a small amount of major league experience in royalty and track and field, producing the .160/.160/.160 line in 25 sets. Last year, he performed very well in minors, but did not continue it into 2025. He cut .302/.361/.559 on the farm in 2024, but this year’s minor league line is .236/.335/.429 and WRC+ is 83.
He has the ability to play any of the four corners and is still available for choice for minors. There may be clubs that are interested in, and they think he has the ability to return to his performance last year. If he is going to cross an unclaimed exemption, the Dodgers can keep him as a non-breeder depth.
