Nottingham Forest

It’s an exciting time to be a fan of Nottingham Forest.
Nuno Espíritosanto changed the side, looking destined to be relegated scrap after relegated scrap became the top team in the Premier League, and will play in the Europa League this season.
While the entire team has stars, from Matz Sels between the sticks to Chris Wood at the top, the team’s star is undoubtedly Morgan Gibbs-White.
The England international is often at the heart of everything the tricky tree does in the offense, so fans should be excited to link the report to the midfielder who won his recent comparison with him.
Forest Target New Gibbs – White
While the forests haven’t been as busy this summer as they used to be, they still bring some exciting additions to Nuno’s side.
Dan Ndoye, for example, scored nine goals and provided six assists to Bologna last season. Igor Jesus made 10 goals for Botafogo, and Jair Cunha looked like a promising pickup at the back.
But with the windows not closing until next month, Garibaldi seems determined to complete at least one signature and bring players in comparison to Gibbs-white.
At least this is according to the latest report from the Daily Mail, which says forests are one of several aspects of interest in Facundo Buonanotte.
The report also revealed that West Ham United, Leeds United, Tottenham Hotspur, Bayer Leverkusen and Dortmund are all interested in the 20-year-old gem.
The good news is that Brighton and Hove Albion are happy to get the Argentine out of the Premier League this summer, but the bad news is that they want him to continue borrowing, although stories earlier this summer suggest that the Seagulls may be willing to sell for about £30 million.
Regardless of how the forest goes, they should do their best to sign Buonanotte this summer because he is an exciting player and could be the new Gibbs-White.
How to Buonanotte Compared to Gibbs-White
In this case, the comparison between Buonanotte and Gibbs-White stems from FBREF, which looks at players in similar positions in the top five European leagues and concluded that Forest Ace was the ninth most similar attacking midfielder or offensive midfielder, or 20 years old in the past 365 days.
We can better understand how to draw this conclusion by examining the basic indicators of the closeness ranking of two people.

These key figures help portray the young Argentinian as a midfielder who can match the British in terms of offensive output, while also being able to do some defensive work in the Nuno system.
But it’s not just their base numbers that are surprisingly similar.
For example, in the 3142-minute first-tier football game last season, the former Wolverhampton Wanderers star scored seven goals and provided ten assists, which is the average goal participation per 184.82 minutes.
For his efforts, Brighton’s “Magic” was called “Magic” by rising star XI on X, who scored six goals in just 1701 minutes of football last season and provided three assists to Leicester City last season, surprisingly, this is the average goal participation per 189 minutes.
Ultimately, while fans probably shouldn’t expect Buonanotte to be on the same level as Gibbs-White right away, it seems he isn’t too far.
So even if it has to be borrowed from the start, Forest should do everything possible to sign the 20-year-old Dynamo this summer.
