The nine-time All-Star team is not in a hurry to sign, but the Celtics are interested in a multi-year contract that will allow him to recover from his 2026-27 season in the Celtics uniform and earn a title. Jayson Tatum has been actively recruiting Lillard to Boston, and the point guard market is limited because his injury will prevent him from playing for most of next season, according to NBA sources. Lillard was injured on April 27, 15 days before Tatum’s injury.
