Despite the failure of China’s public

Sonay Kartal said she is “the right path” to the top ten in the world after her China Open.
Britain’s fourth-ranked 6-3 6-4 lost to Linda Noskova as she quit in the quarterfinals in Beijing.
The 23-year-old fought past fifth place Mirra Andreeva in the last round, calling her the biggest scalp of her career.
And, despite dealing with Noskova, the world ranking 81st says she can continue to climb the rankings.
“The score feels closer than it is in the game,” Qatar said.
“I’m not happy with what I’ve done today, but I’ve had an incredible week.
“I think I’m going the right path. I think it gives me a lot of confidence.
“I think I’ve proved to myself that if I just add one or two things to the game, I can get my level up to the top 10 levels and be much higher than I currently rank.”
