This summer, Arsenal is very active in the transfer market, especially in signing players. Kepa Arrizabalaga, Martin Zubimendi, Christian Norgaard and Noni Madueke have joined, and soon, Cristhian Mosquera and Viktor Gyokeres are expected to arrive too.
After that, there will be more and more attention to sales, and one candidate for summer exports is Jakub Kiwior. The mosquito’s impending arrival will push him to the centre-back’s pecking order, which may prompt him to leave.
Jakub Kiwior welcomes Arsenal this summer
According to football insiders, Mick Brown revealed that Kiwior, who made 30 appearances in all games last season, will be keen to leave Arsenal this summer, but only if there are acceptable offers in the coming weeks.
“He has that flavor of first-line football at Arsenal. It’s natural to want to do it more consistently instead of sitting on the bench after you start playing and show what you can do. It’s something he wants to consider because he won’t get that at Arsenal.
“I have no doubt that he is happy at the club, he still plays very regularly and if there is any injury in his position, he will be asked. But if they want to sign another central defender, he may ask some questions.
“If an interested club joins him, he is interested in the move and will accept the offer. The deal has to fit in Arsenal, which is the main thing because they want him to stay and keep his strength. But from his perspective, I’m sure, I’m sure he will evaluate his choice of the offer.”
Arsenal won’t stand in the way of Chiville, but they may have to pay a lot of money to get him out. There are rumors that 35 million euros are enough, so it remains to be seen whether anyone reaches this valuation.
