Crystal Palace reportedly is keen to sign Bundesliga striker Phil Harres at the end of the season, and they will face a game from Wolves.

Both clubs keep labels on Holstein Kiel Striker, who regularly scouts this season, according to a report from football insiders. The 23-year-old has performed well in the Bundesliga this season, scoring eight goals in the league.

Phil Harres can be used in Crystal Palace

If he could finish the deal, he might prove to be a quality acquisition from Crystal Palace. They need to go deeper in the offensive force, and they rely too much on Jean-Philippe Mateta this season. Harres could be a useful acquisition.

Whether Crystal Palace can defeat the wolf to sign remains to be seen. They will certainly be an attractive destination for players. The 23-year-old striker has been promoted to the 4th Division of Germany in recent seasons. He will hope to compete at a higher level in the future, and moving to the Premier League may be hard to refuse.

Crystal Palace has a high-quality squad that may be the ideal destination for Haras. He will hope to prove himself in the Premier League, and regular football in England can help him improve further. The Palace is certainly a more attractive destination than the wolf, who has been fighting for survival this season.

At the same time, it is no surprise that Wolves are eager for strikers. They are expected to lose Matheus Cunha in the summer and they will need to replace the Brazilians adequately. Bundesliga strikers can also prove to be their ideal acquisition.

Football Insider's report claims a deal can be reached for £8.5 million. This is a reasonable asking price for the players, and both clubs have the resources to complete the deal.
