Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi is closely linked to being away from the club this summer, and Liverpool is eager to secure his signature.
According to TBR Football, Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish is now hoping to sell the players to Liverpool. He hopes the 25-year-old joins the Premier League title and he wants them to make an acceptable advice for the defender.

The defender is the last year of his contract and Crystal Palace doesn’t want to lose him in next year’s free transfer. They hope to recover about £40 million for the defender. However, Liverpool hopes to sign his fee for nearly £30m. It would be interesting to see if two clubs can reach an agreement.
Guehi has been showing his quality in the Premier League and he is ready to take the next step in his career. He will want to join a large club where he will be able to fight for the main trophy. Moving to Liverpool was ideal for him.
Liverpool needs Marc Guehi
On the other hand, Premier League champions also need quality defenders like him. Their backs have looked fragile over the past 12 months. Even in the first game of the season, their defense was poor. The likes of Crystal Palace and Bournemouth managed to expose their defensive vulnerability, and Liverpool did not want to win the main trophy without improving the division.
The England international will certainly help them tighten up behind. He has shown his qualities in clubs and in the countryside, and he is undoubtedly ready to play for the largest club. It will be interesting to see how things unfold in the next few days.
