Craig Tiley appointed USTA president after 13 years with Tennis Australia

Craig Tiley has been appointed as the new CEO of the United States Tennis Association (USTA) after 13 years with Tennis Australia.
Terry, the former director of the Australian Open and chief executive of Tennis Australia, will succeed Lusher, who joins the New York Mets in Major League Baseball.
Tilley, 64, a South African, will officially take on the USTA responsibilities later this year after helping ensure a smooth leadership transition at Tennis Australia.
“I have long admired the organization’s leadership in growing the sport across the United States and the extraordinary success of the U.S. Open,” said Tilley, a former U.S. college coach.
“I am excited to return to USA Tennis and work with our leadership locally and nationally to continue to expand the impact and future of the sport.”
