Chelsea midfielder Moises Caicedo is reportedly the subject of transfer rights in the Saudi professional league.
Ecuador International has been a key player for the Blues since he moved from Brighton, and losing him would be a blow.
According to the Telegraph, it appears that Saudi giant Al Nassr may be considering signing Caicedo, which he may spend £100 million or more.
Caicedo is a world-class talent and, despite Saudi Arabia’s huge funding attracting some surprise names, certainly hopes to continue playing at the highest level for years to come.
Caicedo may be their next ambitious target, but Chelsea will certainly do everything they can to stay 23.
Moises Caideo is a key part of the Chelsea project – getting him going will be a big step back
Signing the best young talent from around the world has always been a big priority as Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali take over Chelsea.
Players like Caicedo and other elite prospects like Cole Palmer and Enzo Fernandez have invested a lot of money.
Despite this, Caicedo is still arguably the biggest success story for many people and therefore does become the face of the Chelsea project.
Therefore, it seems unlikely that the CFC will consider putting down Caicedo, so the Saudi club certainly has no chance to convince them to join him for any expenses.
Enzo Maresca's side looks likely to miss the Champions League qualification, but they still have hope, so if next season goes forward, they will need to keep the team together.
Some imagine that Stamford Bridge will have some ins and outs this summer, but Kesdo certainly has to be seen as unshakable, one of the main players the club will build in the next few years.
