Chelsea connects to sign ‘crazy’ £70m

The right season may have ended Chelsea’s European glory, but Enzo Maresca’s men’s summer is busy.
West Londoners will seek to keep the good times rolling by winning the improved club World Cup and entering next season’s Premier League in the form of a red hot.
But to ensure that the team can go to their top five and go deep into the Champions League, the board needs to work hard in the transfer window and bring more talent.
Fortunately, recent reports now link Bruce to a talented shooter who may have a better signing than Jamie Gittens.
Chelsea transfer news
Chelsea have been very busy this summer, ensuring Ipswich town star Liam Delap, Strasbourg’s Mamadou Sarr and Sporting CP’s Dário Essugo, but they look likely to sign more talents in the coming weeks.
Borussia Dortmund Gittens is one of the heaviest names to move to Blues, with reports linking the British to the club last October, but it has been severely warming in recent weeks.
In fact, this week’s story claims the winger is now a top priority for the West Londoner, but, with the stance of things, he remains a player for the German Giants.
Now, while he will undoubtedly be an exciting addition to Maresca’s roster, another player is now touted to move to Stamford Bridge, a better signing player: Joao Pedro.
According to a latest report by Transfers expert Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea is now interested in the Brighton & Hove Albion Star, which is “highly appreciated” by many at the club.
Additionally, the Italian journalist claims to have made preliminary contacts and will allow players to leave this summer.
However, it may not be that simple, Newcastle United is also said to be interested, while other reports say the Seagulls cost him about £70 million.
Crossing the line can be a complex and expensive transfer, but with Pedro’s ability, it’s a worthwhile move, especially since he’s a better signing than Gittens.
Why Pedro is better than Gittens
So, it’s first to be clear that both Gittens and Pedro will be great signings for Chelsea this summer, but there are several reasons why the latter will be a better acquisition for the Blues at the moment.
First of all, he is just a more productive attacker and is therefore more likely to enter the ground in western London.
For example, in 30 games, a total of 2136 minutes, the monster born to Ribeirão Preto, known as “crazy” by analyst Ben Mattinson, scored 10 goals and provided 7 assists, an average of every 1.76 games per 1.76 games or every 125.64 minutes.

By comparison, the British scored 12 goals and provided five assists, but in 49 appearances for a total of 2,803 minutes, the average of goal participation per 2.88 games was significantly smaller, or per 164.88 minutes.
Most importantly, the former Watford Ace experience is also more effective than the age of 20, and most importantly, the experience of playing and thriving in the Premier League.
Now, it sounds like an unfair stick, beating the Dortmund star, but since the Blues are going to do better than just qualifying for the Champions League again next season, they need to go straight into the team and impress from the word GO, which probably won’t happen to someone from another league.
Ultimately, while both Gittens and Pedro are talented players who can bring a lot of players to Maresca’s team this summer, the latter’s experience and reliable output level means he will be a better signing.
