Chelsea

The Club World Cup may be a hybrid bag for Chelsea at the moment, but next season looks exciting.

Enzo Maresca will lead his team into the Champions League for the first time, and after finishing fifth this season, he will hope to achieve better results in the Premier League.

The best way for the club to help him with this task is to provide him with the right players over the next few weeks and months, and despite their good starts, there is still a lot of work to be done.

Fortunately, the Blues continue to be associated with dangerous striker Hugo Ekitiké, who is now shutting down another attacker if recent reports can be believed, a dream teammate for him.

Chelsea Mobile Attack Reinforcement Force

The link between Chelsea and Ekitike first started around late March this year, and he had fun with the German costume Eintracht Frankfurt.

The link then quieted for a few months before re-shopping this summer, and according to stories earlier this month, the club had been negotiating to sign the Frenchman for about £84 million.

Of course, there are other teams that compete with West Londoners for the striker’s signature, and Liverpool is one of the most famous competitors, but if the past two decades have taught us anything, it is that pensioners are good at getting the people they want.

But while the prospect of signing the Frankfurt Poachers is certainly exciting, it looks like the Blues are closing now, now another talented attacker from the Bundesliga.

At least, this is based on the latest report by Transfers expert Fabrizio Romano, who claims Chelsea has reached an agreement on personal terms with Jamie Gittens.

However, this does not mean that the transfer is classified, as Italian journalists reiterated that an agreement with Dortmund is yet to be reached.

Although Romano did not mention how much the German side wanted for dynamic wingers, reports earlier this week showed that around £55 million would be resolved.

It’s a lot of money, but given Gittens’s ability and potential, it’s a transfer that Chelsea should fight for, especially since he’s on the way with Ekitike.

Why Gittens Becomes Ekitike’s Dream Teammate

It was good for Frankfurt, and it was indeed a breakthrough year for Ekitike, just like when he was doing well on the campaign, he was unstoppable enough in scoring in German costumes this season.

For example, in 48 games, a total of 3644 minutes, the young Frenchman was able to score 22 goals and provide 12 assists, with an excellent average of goals scored every 1.41 games or every 107.17 minutes.

So, with that being said, why would Gittens help him stand out from him more? There are two main reasons, the first is the output of the British.

Jamie Gicent - Porus - Dortmund

Of all the games of the season, Chelsea is the most productive, mainly left winger Jadon Sancho, who managed to generate 15 goals in 41 games but is back at Manchester United.

After that, it was Mykhaylo Mudryk, which seemed unlikely to appear for a while, and then in the third was the youth product Tyrique George.

So, in short, in some way, the West Londoner found himself undernumbered in numbers and quality in the left-wing left, two issues the Dortmund star solved as he scored 17 goals in just 2803 minutes in 49 games this season.

Therefore, it is not unrealistic to think that he can all help Frankfurt Ace provide more goalscoring opportunities and at the end of the opportunities he creates.

Ultimately, in addition to the output, the 20-year-old Foothal Scout Scout Jacek Kulig calls the “difference manufacturer” and has some really impressive base numbers that might be useful for his potential new teammates.

According to FBREF, he is the top 1% of offensive midfielders and wingers in Europe’s top five leagues, i.e. successful breakups, shooting percentages and goal-scoring moves, and then the top 2% of attempted divisions, all at 90.

This shows that not only a young man who likes to try to make things happen, but someone who is capable of doing it, if he keeps creating opportunities from wide places, Ekitike will have more room to operate in the middle.

Ultimately, Chelsea should seek to sign Frankfurt’s goal machine, but if they want to take more from him and significantly improve the left side, they should sign Gittens with him.
