Charly launches the 2025 Heritage Series to celebrate Mexico’s football and culture

Mexican brand Charly has launched its 2025 heritage collection, a fashion tribute to the country’s rich football history and broader cultural roots.

The capsule uses four football style jerseys with matching hats, each full of symbolism.

The first shirt is decorated in red and white as green, and it is an unmistakable nod to the Mexican flag and the national team’s toolkit. Sleek black and gold designs and crisp white and red jerseys reminiscent of the classic Mexican suit, while warm wine and gold shirts restore the times El Tri In the late 1950s, the green family kit was switched to.

All four have a famous Quetzalcoatl, the feathered serpent of the Aztec mythology, and a subtle Aztec-style theme that extends along the first three stripes – a tribute to the ancient history of Mexico.

After completing the design, “Mexico” boldly printed it at the back and returned home with cultural pride.

“We want to share the rich culture of Mexico, rather than stereotypes, and hopefully it resonates with Mexicans, Mexican Americans, and a deep soccer culture,” explained Mauricio Rodríguez Vallejo, Charly’s director of sports marketing.

Now, with a selection of American retailers, including Dick’s sporting goods, the Heritage Series undoubtedly accomplishes this mission.
