Charger’s Najee Harris is expected to prepare for 2025 after suffering an eye injury on July 4

After four seasons with the Steelers, Najee Harris became an unrestricted free agent. The 27-year-old has not received a long-term agreement. Instead, he signed a one-year, $5.25 million contract with the charger.
The NFL training camp will begin at the end of July. Prior to that, players are taking a break and preparing for the upcoming NFL season battle. Just last Friday was July 4, and it was reported that there was a minor accident in Chargers’ RB Najee Harris. He suffered superficial eye damage from fireworks on July 4. But, his agent Doug Hendrickson said Harris is expected to begin in 2025.

Fireworks are the annual traditions throughout the country on July 4. Now is the time for families to sit down and enjoy the night sky. Fireworks bring risks of injury, which can become a dangerous process. That’s what happened to the Steelers last week. NFL insiders reported that fireworks were unfortunate and charger RB Najee Harris suffered a superficial eye injury.
Harris’s agent Doug Hendrickson pointed out that “several attendees” were injured. A man even went to the hospital after losing his fingers. Harris was very lucky that he didn’t happen to any major. NFL fans can remember the 2015 incident between former Giants and Pirates De Jason Pierre-Paul. He lost 2.5 fingers due to dangerous fireworks injuries.
Agent Doug Hendrickson made a statement on his client charger RB Najee Harris: “Najee Harris attended the July 4 event, and the fireworks were injured by several attendees.

Fortunately, Piere-Paul was able to overcome his hand injury and get a fight for another seven years. Los Angeles feels very lucky that Najee Harris has not had serious harm. That could endanger his 2025 season. He is a senior RB in charger. Harris rushed for at least 1,000 yards in each of his first four seasons with the Steelers.
The charger hasn’t had a 1,000-yard sprint since Melvin Gordon in 2017. When the team uses first-round picks on RB, this means they want to make changes. Najee Harris can start the season as a starter in Los Angeles, but Omarion Hampton will knock on the door.
