Charger defeats Chiefs in Brazil

If only the Los Angeles charger can play all the games 6,000 miles from home. They went to Sao Paulo in Brazil and beat Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs, who snatched seven-game losing streak from his AFC West rivals, a winning streak that dates back to 2021.
“The longer you travel, the better it feels more and more,” said coach Jim Harbaugh. “It’s great.”
Harbaugh prefers running competitions, but the charger airs with surprise moves, which gives them an early lead on Friday night in the 27-21 season.
Quarterback Justin Herbert completed 25 of 34 passes for a total of 318 yards, three touchdowns, and no interceptions.
Herbert then secured the victory with his legs. With two minutes left, the Chiefs had no time out, he climbed up to 19 yards in the third and 14-year-olds game, sliding to inbound and keeping the clock ticking effect.
“Justin is amazing in every way,” Harbour said.
Chargers lead the way, and every time the Chiefs ruled to lead, the Chargers were against a team that won nine consecutive AFC West titles. The Chiefs answered the touchdown after they reached 13-12 and 20-18 with 13-12 and 20-18.
“I just want to pile up games,” said Derwin James Jr. “This season hasn’t ended with this game and we know we’re going to have to play that team again, but that will help. It’s very important for our team to be 1-0 in the department.”
What works
Defensive coordinator Jesse Minter has several months to plan the season’s opener. The Chiefs ranked second in the NFL last season, second in the NFL, and only five in the third decline. The Chiefs failed to convert their first seven attempts in the first seven attempts of the third fall, which was emphasized by Daiyan Henley in the sack in the red zone. Chargers Defense limits Kansas City to 98 yards.
What help is needed
It turns out that the receiving group is not what some people think may be. Herbert connected to TD with old target Keenan Allen, Quentin Johnston caught two TD passes and Ladd McConkey caught six passes for 74 yards. Rookie Tre Harris only had 11 yards to catch.

Left tackle Joe Alt anchored an offensive line, helping the bolts accumulate 394 yards. Alt moved from the right tackle to the left tackle after falling from a season-end injury during training camp. Harbaugh called ALT “perhaps the best, most advanced player on our team, and he was so outstanding last year.”

Run back Najee Harris lost his starting role in the opener of rookie Omarion Hampton. Harris missed all training camps after suffering an eye injury during a fireworks incident in Northern California on July 4. His carry lasted for 5 yards and one catch was 5 yards. Hampton has 15 carrys and 48 yards.
Injuried
Denzel Perryman hurt his ankle in the second quarter and did not return. He then wore walking boots.
Key number
375-Expand receiver Keenan Allen has 7 passes in her career in St. Paul (Herbert). Allen previously scored 520 catches in retired QB Philip Rivers, making him the third player in NFL history, with 375 catches from multiple passers, Hall of Famers Jerry Rice and Tony Gonzalez.
Next step
Herbert’s record against the Las Vegas Raiders was 6-3, the next opponent on September 15, with an average of 279.6 yards.
