Barcelona Open: Carlos Alcaraz

Top seed Carlos Alcaraz scored a straight win in the quarterfinals of the Barcelona Open.
Spain's second-place finisher Alcaraz beat the Monte Carlo Masters last week in the Serbian seedless djere.
Alcaraz won the first five games and won eight unanswered winners in his first dominance.
The four-time Grand Slam champion suffered losses in Game 2, trailing 4-2 before winning the final four games.
“After the second drop of 4-2, I'm more like my level,” Alkaraz said.
“I’m so happy to be able to improve myself and look more like my best and I want to continue.”
The 21-year-old will play the fifth seed Alex de Minaur in the final eight games after the Australian beat Britain's Jacob Fearnley.
On Monday, the unseeded Fearnley beat Spain's Roberto Carballes, who won his first ATP Tour on Clay but was beaten 6-1 6-2 by De Minaur.
Elsewhere, Russia's fourth seed Andrey Rublev lost 7-5 6-4 to unseeded Spain Alejandro Davidovich Fokina.
Fokina will face Russia's Karen Khachanov in the quarterfinals, who beat Spain's Jaume Munar 7-5 6-4.
