Carlos Alcaraz Statistics: Compared to Tennis Legends, after the U.S. Open

Since Alcaraz joined the ATP Tour as 16, he has been praised for his all-around drama, being able to combine cut low slices with fierce forehand and agile shooting percentage to consistently catch opponents off guard and win in a breathtaking way.

But his ability to stitch this all-round quality together on any surface has set him apart from anyone else.

Alcaraz now wins two Grand Slams on every hard, grass and clay surface – only Rafael Nadal (24), Mats Wilander (24) and Novak Djokovic (34) have ever achieved the same feat in the men’s game.

Alcaraz improves his profession too – he won six Grand Slams in just 19 games, second only to 18 set by Bjorn Borg in 1978.

Only Borgby Alcaraz won six Grand Slams, which was won by winning three games at Roland Garros’ Clay and three on Wimbledon’s grass.

Nadal also had six (but won the last game a few months older than Alcaraz), while Pete Sampras was five and Wilander Four.

Eight-time Wimbledon champion Roger Federer (three games) and 24-time Grand Slam champion Djokovic (1) were behind Alcaraz at the time.
