Tiger puts Colt Keith on injured list

Tiger announces infielder Colt Keith Due to inflammation of the right rib cage, it has been placed on the list of injuries for 10 days. Infielder Jace Jung Have been recalled as a corresponding action.
It is not clear how long Keith will be eliminated. He obviously grabbed his back or side and left yesterday’s game. “He’s getting out and all he said to me is, ‘I have to quit the game. I have to quit the game,'” “It’s a very focused time of this time of year, especially when he’s passionate about what’s going on in his back/edge/rib area.”
Earlier today, Hinch didn’t have much update, according to Stavenhagen. “There is no news that I can confirm. He is still undergoing medical evaluation. He is here and I talk to him. I know he is not great, but what does that mean. Obviously today we will limit him and have him evaluate his feedback multiple times. We are waiting for some doctor feedback so that we can diagnose and explain, but I get nothing.”
It now seems that with the ongoing evaluation, the Tigers decided to put him on the shelf. At least, he’ll miss the rest of the regular season. The Tigers are still in a good position in the playoffs, although the Guardians closed the gap by just 3.5 games in the central department. Assuming the Tigers do stick to the playoffs, Keith may play a role in October if his health allows.
The Tigers will have no key bats when they try to win the playoff location. Keith hit 13 home runs this year and scored .256/.333/.413 with 108 WRC+. He did this while separating his time.
Gleyber Torres and Spencer Torkelson Although the hot angle should be more of a rotation, the second and first bases should be covered. This is already the case, because Keith has been with Andy Ibanis and Zach McKinstry. Looking ahead, Ibáñez and McKinstry should continue playing time there, with McKinstry being third tonight.
Jung might also consider it, although his major league job this year is poor. This is a small part of the 53 disks that appear, but he produced the .111/.245/.111 line earlier this year. That made him send to the minor, where his annual line was .252/.370/.447.
