In Triple-A, things aren’t much better, he allowed 5.69 ERA in 99 2/3 frames, spanning 18 games.
It’s been a while since Plesac was an effective starter. In the 2020 season shortened, he performed well against Cleveland, earning a 2.28 ERA on eight outings. However, this has something to do with a weak lineup overall, but the team has limited time to play and the first 12-round draft picks cannot be established. He has 4.86 ERAs in 58 MLB appearances since that season.
Any team in St. Louis has the best rotational health this year. They only used six starters.
