Canter rejoins LIV Golf – Golf News

LIV Golf has confirmed that British professional Laurie Canter will return to the league for the 2026 season, marking a significant return for the 36-year-old after playing in the competition from 2022 to 2024.
His return to LIV comes at a time when his career is enjoying its strongest momentum yet.
Since turning pro in 2011, Kante has earned recognition for his consistency, precision and analytical approach to the game.
His steady progress on the DP World Tour has established him as one of Europe’s most reliable performers, highlighted by his breakthrough victory at the 2024 European Open and his second victory at the 2025 Bapco Energies Bahrain Championship.
He ended the 2025 season in seventh place at the DP World Tour Battle of Dubai and is currently ranked 60th in the Official World Golf Rankings.
These achievements, coupled with his previous experience with LIV, make Kanter’s return a notable addition as the league continues to evolve on the global stage.
“Rejoining LIV Golf is a big moment for me,” Kanter said. “My early seasons in the league played a big role in making me the player I am today and the growth at LIV since then has been phenomenal.
After becoming a more well-rounded player and winning multiple times on the DP World Tour, coming back now feels like the right step. I’m excited about the future and ready to contribute from day one. “
With anticipation building for the 2026 season, Kante’s return brings proven and in-form talent back to the LIV Golf line-up.
