Caitlin Clark ruled out the rest of the 2025 WNBA season

She announced on social media that Indiana hot superstar Caitlin Clark was excluded from the rest of the 2025 WNBA season due to injury.
Caitlin Clark has been eliminated since July 15
Clark, the No. 1 pick in the 2024 draft, has been limited to 13 games this season and has suffered a correct groin injury at the last minute of her fever 85-77 win over the Connecticut Suns in the last minute since July 15.
“I had hoped to share a better update, but I wouldn’t be back to the season,” Clark said. “I spent hours in the gym every day, and a peculiar goal was to get back there, the word of disappointment wasn’t big enough to describe how I felt.”
Clark also missed the time for left groin damage this season. The 23-year-old reportedly had to recover at the same time as her groin after a workout in August.

“I want to thank everyone who supports me in all the uncertainty,” Clark said. “It’s incredibly frustrating, but even at the bad, there’s good. The fans continue to show up for the way I’m coming, and the fever, have brought me so much joy and important perspectives.
“I’m proud of how this team has become stronger in adversity this year. It’s time to end this season and win the postseason.”
Hope Clark will come back this season
Indiana coach Stephanie White said earlier Thursday that the team hopes to use its recent West Coast trip to evaluate Clark’s path forward and plans to “sit down after practice today and hopefully have a direction soon”, according to ESPN’s Alexa Philippou.
Philippou per phite said the team’s hopeful Clark will be able to return at the end of the regular season, but the Iowa native “can’t fully reintegrate into practice” before Tuesday’s regular season finale.
White said Thursday that Clark was able to participate in a 5-on-0 drill earlier this week but did not do much contact work. However, the fever did not rush her back to the lineup.
“Katelyn has been working hard during this time, doing everything she can to recover and return to court, but in the end, time is not with us,” Amber Cox, chief operating officer and general manager of fever, said in a statement.
“While we will continue to work with Caitlyn and provide her with every resource we provide, there is not enough time in the season to return safely, and her long-term health and well-being remains our top priority. We look forward to her being able to go all out to start the 2026 season.”
In 13 games this season, Clark averaged 16.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, 8.8 assists, 1.6 steals and 31.1 minutes of games while shooting 36.7%, 27.9% outside the arc and 82% of the foul line.
She also recorded five doubles and triple-doubles.
Caitlin Clark signs signature agreement with Nike
Last month, Clark became the third WNBA player to reach a signature deal with Nike, followed by A’ja Wilson and Sabrina Ionescu. Wilson’s shoes and outfits are coming out this year.
“Nike’s signature lineup has great players of all time and I’m very proud to join some of the best athletes in the world,” Clark said in a statement. “I’m so happy to see what we’ve started to create together for the first time.”
Clark’s logo series will be launched on October 1, with feverish colors (yellow and navy blue) released on September 1 in North America on Nike.com.
In addition to Clark’s introduction as a signature athlete, she and Nike have also launched her new logo logo: the combination of Interlock C represents her abbreviation.
“For me, it’s not just a logo, it’s a dream come true,” Clark said. “People always talk about making their mark in the game – and it’s another way I can do it.”
The former WNBA logo collection rookie will include essential T-shirts, hoodies, shorts and pants for athletes of all ages, as well as other quality pieces for adults.
