Sunderland and Leeds United are looking to improve their offensive units in the summer transfer window, targeting Matthis Abline from Nantes.
According to a report by Leeds United News, the two clubs held talks to sign the Frenchman Under 21 International. He was impressed this summer at the Under-21 European Championships in Slovakia, which he can prove to be a quality long-term investment in both clubs.
He scored 16 goals for Nantes in 60 games. He could be a quality player at two British clubs and it would be fun to see where he ended up getting. The chance to move to the Premier League will be very exciting for him. This will be a huge improvement in his career and he will hope to test at the highest level.

Sunderland has been promoted to the Premier League and they need better players to perform well in top flights. Improving its offensive units should be a priority. The 22-year-old has a good technical attribute in England and he will hope to run.

Likewise, Leeds hopes to establish itself as a regular in the Premier League. They need to improve quality in the offensive unit, and the 22-year-old will add some of the forefront in the last third.

Abline is still very young and he will only improve through coaching and experience. He can prove that the future investments of these two clubs are reliable.
