The winemaker sent an infielder Oliver Dunn Directly with Triple-A Nashville, according to MLB.com’s Adam McCalvy. Dunn clears the exemption after being designated as an assignment Jackson Chourio Returned from the injury list over the weekend. It was his first thorough, he didn’t have three years of major league service, so he needed to take on the task.
Dunn has been in Nashville since mid-April. In the first few weeks of the season, he briefly covered the uncertain third base combination. He reached .167 with a benchmark percentage of 0.205 in 14 games before being selected. Kaleb Durbin Appeared and seized the rookie’s third base job. The 27-year-old Dunn (28 tomorrow) performed mediocrely in Triple-A. His batting was .201/.304/.326, with seven home runs to 407 sets.
This is Dunn’s first extended triple A. He only saw brief action there in 2023 and 24. The number of first 11 round draft picks was large, and members of the Philadelphia organization were two seasons ago. Milwaukee won him in the ’24 campaign, but he missed him for most of that season with a back injury. Dunn will retain its infield depth in September. If he doesn’t join the 40-man squad, he will qualify as a minor league free agent early in the winter.
