Canadians and Flames are one of the teams interested in Pavel Zacha
James Murphy of RG Media: Montreal Canadians and Calgary Flames are several teams that have expressed interest in Boston Bruins forward Pavel Zacha, a source said.
The Canadians and the Bruins have not been engaged in a deal involving one player since February 21, 2001 – Patrick Traverse to Eric Weinrich’s Bruins.
While nothing is imminent, a trade plan between Canadians and brown bears has been discussed. No other names have been confirmed. Sources did say names appearing in the Canadian Second-tier Center search this offseason include Jaden Struble, Joshua Roy and Oliver Kapanning. RG has heard Struble’s name connect to Bruins before.

Another source said the Brown Bear wasn’t shopping for Zacha, but was on the phone while GM Don Sweeney was listening. Sources added that he did not see the deal that took place before Thanksgiving in the United States and if the Brown Bears had another tough start, they would listen to more players.
The Canadian also watched Mason McTavish, who the duck wanted to resign, the source added.
