French Open 2025: Aryna Sabalenka “Love” is chased as the world's number one

“Every time I go there, I feel like ‘Okay, let’s go’. Let’s see who is ready for the stress moment.

“Actually, it’s actually helping me stay in the moment and fight anyway.”

Sabalenka lost to Russian teenager Mirra Andreeva in the quarterfinals last year due to stomach problems.

“I would never go to a meal before the competition. This lesson was learned,” Sabalenka joked on Friday.

Sabalenka, who won two Australian openings and a U.S. Open, bid on Russia's Kamilla Rakhimova on Sunday.

Sabalenka is the same draw with Poland's fifth Swiatek, which means they can be met in the semifinals.
