Taylor Fritz will return to the Nitto ATP Finals one year after reaching the championship match in the season finale.

The United States qualified for the year-end tournament when Lorenzo Musetti crashed at the Rolex Paris Masters on Wednesday. Fritz joins Carlos Alcaraz, Jannik Sinner, Alexander Zverev and Novak Djokovic.

Last year, Fritz defeated former champions Daniil Medvedev and Zverev in the final before Sinner beat him to claim the trophy. This will be the 27-year-old’s third appearance in the Nitto ATP Finals, having advanced through round-robin play in his previous two appearances.

Fritz got off to a great start to the season at the Fed Cup, leading Team USA to the trophy, and he hasn’t looked back. The ten-time ATP Tour champion lifted the trophy in Stuttgart, Eastbourne, marking the fourth consecutive year he has won multiple titles.

Fritz also reached the semi-finals for the first time at Wimbledon and then reached the Tokyo final. Other outstanding results include his semi-final appearances in Miami and Toronto.

The Nitto ATP Finals will be held at the Inalpi Arena in Turin from November 9th to 16th, and there are currently three singles spots left. Ben Shelton is currently ranked sixth at PIF ATP Turin Live, Alex De Minaur is seventh and Musetti is eighth. Felix Auger-Aliassime, who is ninth, is 390 points behind Musetti.
