“I just wanted to be aggressive,” Halliburton said. “Just trying to do my best. I feel like I’ve let the team down in Game 3. I could have been much better. I feel like I responded right today.”
In addition, Haliburton joined Russell Westbrook, the only player able to record five rebounds with at least 20 points, with 10 assists in the playoffs since 1998.
Walkers allow John Haliburton to return
Coincidentally, Haliburton also restored NBA history the same night, his father John, was the first time attending the Gainbridge Fieldhouse since the first round of the game.
John missed the first eight playoff games after facing Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo as his son came after the last second of the first round series.
The Pacers allowed John to return to Game 4 and sit in the suite.

Haliburton admits he is happy to bring his father back to the arena, but he is on how he bounces back after both himself and the Pacers suffered disappointing losses in Game 3.
“I just want to be able to prove that my back is on the wall and when our team’s back is on the wall, I can respond,” Halliburton said. “It was a huge win for us because if we got back there 2-2, it would be different.”
Indiana scores 33 points in Halliburton pass
According to basketball reference, the Pacers scored 33 points (63.6%) in Halliburton’s 22 passes. He completed 11 of 23 shots (47.8%) from the floor, shot 5 (41.7%) from the free throw line in 37 minutes of action, scored 6 (41.7%) from the free throw line (83.3%).
“It’s amazing, but it’s been his business,” said Pacers coach Rick Carlisle. “Maybe there will be a new statistical category named after him somewhere.
“He and Chris Paul, these guys, not a lot of people. I know [John] Stockton didn’t throw it back during the game, and LeBron James didn’t turn it over much. You can drive down, some great people. So, I know he is proud of it, and it is a motivational factor. ”
The Knicks hosted the fifth game in Indiana Thursday night.
