Saudi club pushes signing with Chelsea Stars and previous bids

Chelsea’s transfer activity in 2025 is over, at least in terms of revenue, the UK deadline is over, but it’s a completely different story when it comes to potential exits.
The transfer windows for Saudi Arabia and Türkiye are still open, meaning some players can still leave Stamford Bridge over the next week.

Chelsea has raised £288 million in spending and despite spending £285 million this summer, they can still make £3 million in profits as the future of some of the Bomb Squad members are still in the air.
Raheem Sterling is the chief among Enzo Maresca’s unnecessary men who failed to move out by the deadline of September 1, and Blueco will be desperate to get rid of his £325,000 per week with the recent opportunity.
Despite some reports that Sterling is in high-level talks to leave Chelsea in the summer, the 30-year-old has never achieved a move and the time-consuming striker is leaving, so he can try to make a request in Thomas Tuchel’s 2026 World Cup football match.
Just like Chilwell is about £200,000 a week and is seen as a surplus by Maresca, you can’t help but ask if Chelsea will decide to reduce losses and terminate Sterling’s deal so he can leave as a free agent.
Another player who firmly exceeded Maresca’s plan and saw a transfer failure by September was Defender Axel Disasi.
The Frenchman enjoyed a solid loan in Aston Villa in the second half of 2024/2025, raising summer interest such as Villa, Wolves, Sunderland, Newcastle and Juventus, but nothing has increased their interest.
According to the BBC, Disasi also refused to move to Bournemouth and West Ham, but with options in Europe now becoming less and less common, moving to Saudi Arabia may be his best choice.
Neom SC makes Chelsea defender Axel Disasi bid
According to a report by Chelsea News, SPL Side Neom SC is working to sign Disasi and has made a £17 million offer for the 27-year-old.
While Disney would rather stay on the mainland, his choice is to potentially accept Neom’s progress or stay on Cobham’s side for four months.
“Neom signed Alexandre Lacazette, Marcin Bulka and Nathan Zézé this summer, and they are building a squad with a strong French chemistry,” said the website’s source.
“It is tactically and culturally consistent with Disney’s profile and the club sees him as a key figure in his long-term strategy.”
Chelsea obviously hopes that if they want to sell in green light, Dissey’s hesitation about moving to the Middle East means that such transfers still have a certain way to go.
Türkiye is still an option for former Monko men, but when things stand, that part of Europe doesn’t make any suggestions of interest.
