Novak Djokovic rests at ‘breaking the curse’ in front of former rival Rival Roger Federer, who struggles to overcome the inspired Alex de Minaur and reaches the Wimbledon quarterfinals.
Serbia’s Djokovic continued eight championships on the Royal Box, Federer saw a mistake from the Royal Box, lost the wrong opener and had to fight back 4-1 in the fourth set to beat 1-6 6-4 6-4 6-4 6-4 6-4 6-4 6-4.

Seven-time champion Djokovic said in front of Federer: “This is probably the first time he looked at me and I won the game!
“I lost the last few times, so it’s nice to break the curse.
Roger is a huge champion and I appreciate and respect a lot of people.
“We have shared the stage for years and are happy to get him back to his most successful and favorite game.”
In addition to chasing Federer’s Wimbledon record, Djokovic also tried to win an independent record of 25 Grand Slam title.
He will face Italy’s 22nd seed Flavio Cobolli in the semifinals, and world No. 1 Jannik Sinner may wait in the last four.
